Chris has just returned from Stockholm this week after presenting at the city’s coolest hairdressing and fashion event on behalf of Redken Sweden. We posted a couple of pictures here of some of the models. The show was part of an event called Stockholm Hairdresser and it was held at the prestigious Berns Hotel. Chris presented a total of 12 models and was assisted on stage by Teemu Koivisto, a Swedish Redken Artist who Chris mentored last year in New York as part of the International Mentorsship Programme.

At this event Chris presented models who’s long hair was dressed to create insprational sttling work forcasting current and future trends. This year long hair is classically dressed but with lots of added texture using mini crimping irons and a texture technique called Rik Racking. In addition Chris also demonstrated two creative haircuts using geometric lines and short disconnections, as well as models with creative colour techniques. All the colour for the event was created using Redken’s new Chromatics, the revolutionary new ammonia free permanent colour. There are more pictures to see on our Facebook page, so make sure you check them out. Come back soon when we’ll post more news about Chris’s recent trips teaching in Dubai and presenting on stage to over 3000 hairdressers in Berlin, Germany
